1. What are you passionate about?
I am a natural born ‘caretaker’ who is passionate about ensuring the public has the education and tools to understand the options available to them inside of real estate. There is an incredible opportunity for all of us in real estate. Real estate offers consistency and unique opportunities for creating multiple vehicles for a return on investment. As a ‘caretaker’, it brings me great satisfaction to provide this education and arm folks with resources and tools yielding an exceptional real estate experience.
2. Do you have a mission statement?
The Gwin Properties Team at RE/MAX Professionals provides concierge real estate experiences for buyers and sellers that are nothing short of exceptional from first interaction to well beyond moving day.
3. What areas do you specialize in?
I serve the Denver Metro and Colorado Springs residential real estate markets. I have a particular passion for investors, luxury buyers/sellers, first time buyers/sellers, divorce, estate sales, and the short-sale and pre-foreclosure/foreclosure process/sales. As a Colorado Native, I have a particular knowledge and set of skills related to the Denver and Colorado Springs markets that sets me apart in a crowd!
4. When you think of the word “Successful”, who’s the first person who comes to mind and why?
Someone who ‘knows’ that goals are dreams with deadlines. There isn’t any one person who comes to mind, rather many! Anyone who embraces/demonstrates this concept is successful in my eyes
5. What is the book {or books} you’ve given most as a gift?
“The Compound Effect”, by Darren Hardy
6. What purchase of $100 or less has most positively impacted your life in the last 6 months?
My $23 daily agenda book. All my days run from a paper calendar and have for years. It keeps me on task, and on time without the noise of my iphone to distract me!
7. Do you have a personal or business coach?
Back in 2017 I hired a business coach and began a 3 year coaching relationship with that business platform. Near the end of my contract, I was invited to become a real estate business coach myself. I’ve now been a business coach since 2021 coaching real estate professionals across the country. I absolutely love it and find that being a coach myself keeps me accountable at an even higher level than what I was when I was being coached.
8. What obsessions do you explore on the evenings or weekends?
Vintage cars! I love them and want to learn all about what makes them valuable during restoration.
9. What topic would you speak about if you were asked to give a talk on something outside of real Estate?
When I was growing up, I was convinced I wanted to be a professional make-up artist for movie stars. And while the passion for that career died over time, my love for makeup artistry still remains strong to this day. I love to learn and teach new techniques, and I absolutely love trying new products and trends. I wouldn’t shy away from an opportunity to give a talk about anything “make-up”!
10. If you could have one gigantic billboard anywhere with anything on it, what would it say?
“The answer is always ‘No’ unless you’re willing to ask the question”
11. Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know?
I graduated High School a semester early!
12. Do you have any interesting hobbies or talents?
Vintage Ford Mustangs own my soul! I recently purchased a ‘67 Mustang Coupe whose paint/body was in impeccable condition. Along with my husband and our preferred Hot Rod shop, we’ve been working on a resto-mod to create the Hot Rod of our dreams. We are excited to attend car shows in the near future and are excited to add more ponies to our collection as time and money allows!
13. What have you changed your mind about in the last few years? Why?
When I first became a mother I was pretty adamant my children would attend a 4 year college like I had. As time has passed, it’s become clear our culture is in desperate need of trades people and the opportunities for trades people are plentiful. My first born graduated from trade school and my younger daughter just graduated with an associate’s degree. They’re both still young, so it remains to be seen if they will further their education. Most of all, I’m extremely proud of their accomplishments and am incredibly excited for them because they’re both passionate about their futures.
14. Last parting words?
Lead/live with abundance, not scarcity.
